Using our survey vehicle and the 2 installed pneumatic masts, we can operate and control professional digital camera equipment, taking panoramic photographs up to a height of 21m AGL. What would normally take two man days using a cherry picker, can be undertaken in less than 30 minutes using this system. Avoiding the use of cherry pickers also reduces the health and safety aspects of any work.
This image forms part of a 360 degree panoramic view and was taken at a height of 20m AGL.
Line-of-sight verification work can also be undertaken using this system. Riggers and engineers at the radio link terminating point see our position due to the Maxa Beam HID searchlight which is installed on the mast. This is the most powerful HID spot lamp currently available, providing a focused light source which can be seen many miles away from its position.
High specification CCTV camera equipment is also installed on the mast, providing real time pan, tilt, zoom enabled viewing in the survey vehicle with a 380 times visual zoom. Other sensor equipment can also be mounted on masts to collect data and images.
